Park Bowls Club
The
oldest Club in town, Folkestone Park has been resident at its two greens in
Radnor Park since 1900. Although the greens are Council owned, since 1998 the
Club has had full responsibility for their maintenance and is unique in the
area in having a full-time gamekeeper. the well maintained flower beds and border
shrubs make this a pleasant and attractive sporting venue.

If you have never played bowls before we can provide
tuition and will be pleased to loan equipment until such time as you are ready
to buy your own. Parks advice is to try the bowls before you buy them. We
believe the best way to learn is by playing and become involved with games

A modern fitted kitchen allows for the preparation of good quality teas and
evening suppers. The bar serves a wide range of drinks at prices well below
pubs, clubs and hotels. We also have a good sized dance floor ideal for functions.
In the winter period we offer short mat bowls, whist drives, league darts and
regular quiz nights. The club has a proven policy of equality for all members
irrespective of gender. The club in 2001 received an award from the County council
for it voluntary contribution to providing year round bowls for the disabled.
